Greed Over Safety In Texas

It's about time for some lawsuits against that Texas Christian girl's camp. Over the decades, the camp lobbied for and got buildings removed from the FEMA flood zone map. With almost each time it coincided with expanding a building or constructing new ones to increase the amount of kids they can house at the camp. (Latest fees are about $4K/30 days.) Along with the boatload of cash from increased business, the camp also saved a whole lot of that boatload from not having to pay exorbitant flood insurance premiums. Must have also been using some of the money to pay off officials in FEMA, or lobbyists to do it for them over the decades, in order to get them comply with their batshit crazy requests when Climate Change Global Warming had been/is making 100yr extreme flooding in Texas which sits next to the ever warming Gulf a yearly event & the camp property is right alongside the Guadalupe River. To make matter worse FEMA flood zone maps are not as detailed as other flood mapping companies which do take into account the extreme rainfall events that can cause sudden catastrophic flooding events like the one that happened. In these companies' flood zone mapping the whole camp and every building on it is in the flood danger zone of the river making the camp an unsuitable place for little kids to be housed. Let's see how turn-the-other-cheeky these good Christian folks are when they find out the camp put profits over their kids' safety. It's sinful, and one co-owner of the camp has paid the wages of it. The other co-owner left is going to have to pay the families.
