Im the original poster and I must say that the first 3 comments Im seeing are so funny. Like King Trump is crazy. Blud is NOT king, hes a president who will stop being in office in 4 years and then we'll get a new president. Also I never mentioned anything about the Lincoln Memorial. At least we hope this will happen. You seem to be naive to what's been going on lately, and (three and a half) years is a LONG way from now. And the people who are supposed to keep Trump in check are proving to be a bunch of milquetoast cowards who will back down when Trump roars a little too loudly for them.

Yeah, I hope we will get a new president when the scheduled time comes, but it seems more likely we will end up in a permanent "state of emergency" and all of that election stuff will be a thing of the past. And Trump will have had arranged for a new dictator to take his place for when he finally croaks.

All US democracy is is something on paper and that only happens in real life because there are people actively making sure of it. Or were. Think about that.
