Autistic step son is ruining our life

If my husband knew how much I truly hate his kid it would be a war. Husband is childish, petty, and stupid. He would tell all of his friends and everyone we know how terrible I am for hating his gross kid. I dont need my reputation tainted so I have to find a way out that preserves that and is reasonable to other people. And try to push him out of the house soon as he turns 18.

Welcome back. I remember your other posts and commented on them as well. From everything you've mentioned before, it sounds like your husband coddled the son to the point of enabling him to where he acts like an ass. Which is unfortunate. I've worked with people who have had autism and things that were cool people because they were raised to act right and not go through life using whatever they had as a "Get out of jail free" card. The way shit is now to where every little quirk is considered part of the spectrum really doesn't help things either. Down Syndrome or something, okay. Not being a loud obnoxious ass whose too stubborn and spoiled to act right, that's just being an ass.

It’s not morally wrong to point out someone is a pice of shit just because they have some sort of condition. Including autism.

In fact, sometimes it’s not even well diagnosed and the kid is just an evil piece of shit with a personality disorder, like callous-unemotional (which is the predecessor of sociopathy in adults).

^ Agreed. The medical field, especially "mental health" is mostly a scam. Autism services are a huge scam right now. I say this because kids are being misdiagnosed left and right now, autism has become the new ADHD. Lol this is one hell of a comment section.
Lets be clear, I am patient and firm with the kid. My contempt towards him is nothing but internal, and this is the only platform I can rant how I truly feel. I never have and never would "abuse" him.
People are fast to judge but I know most people in my situation would feel the same way.
As for "staying", yes for the time being I am staying, but I dont see it lasting much longer.
The fact is, I dont want to risk my husband giving me a defective child like the one he has, and I dont need to be responsible for this one either.
