FCC blunder

The FCC's job is to make sure people are not interfering with each other's radio signals, or otherwise causing interference that could potentially put people's lives at risk (ex: putting out a radio signal that jams emergency communications). They are not supposed to be the Morality Police and they are certainly not supposed to be shutting people down over speech rhat the current regume does not like. And this is where things got fucked up because the FCC was deputized into involvement of things they have no business in policing aka mission creep. And why we have the shit that's going on today.

Like drivers licences, FCC licenses exist because they don't want random people buying up a 1,000 watt ham radio rig, not know how to properly use or maintain it, and drown out an entire band of frequencies. Like not wanting people who don't know how to drive and never took any drivers lessons on the road. Again, not meant to enforce morality or political narratives.
