Once you and another person indicate on Facebook that you are in a relationship, you should be able to see each other's Facebook Dating profiles whether or not you otherwise use the app.

For monogamous people it would help you make sure you're not being cheated on.

For polyamorous people you'd just be able to tell your boo, "hey, you do you, but I have an opinion about that shirt. You're going to get more action with another pic."

I just don't think it should be a mystery either way.

There's no option to compare and discard potential mates by not saving their profiles for later. This is why I don't recommend this app.
There are ways to find out if the subject you chose has potential, some use star signs (if you are into that), some checks their personality to quantify if the partner is suitable.
Facebook doesn't let you keep your options open to choose many potential partners!
As monogamy, you'll only worry about that WHEN YOU TIED THE KNOT.

Well honestly its likrly if your ptofile says "in a relationship " I imagine women would contact the guys girlfriend... men probably wouldn't contact a guy but some would. I would so its probably not required... I think you just have to pick people using your brain
