ex bf update... again.

okay so i woke up this morning to a text message from him. keep in mind i was going a good three days without texting this guy (so long i know lol). anyway he texts me saying how he still cares about me and that we've gone through a lot together but he's not that special. and he's like apologizing saying "don't let me stop you from being your true self". and he said "i just wanted to text back and not be the #1 shittiest person." and basically i just responded and was like no matter what i don't think you'll ever understand how i feel for you, and that he put me in a really weird position but i forgave him. and then he's like i just don't want there to be hard feelings and i don't want you to be upset. i really appreciate his apology but i'm not 100 percent sure if i believe he means it. i'm not sure if he actually feels bad or if he is just trying to cover up his tracks. i just dont understand why he is still texting me when he already apologized for everything and said he wasnt going to talk to me anymore... so then why are you still here? hes so confusing and i feel like i try to read into everything he says but maybe i should just chill tf out.
