EU Still Funding Russia

The EU will never kick the cheap Russian fossil fuel crack. EU money funded Russia's Ukrainian land grab and is still funding it. EU 2024 has spent more on Russian fossil fuel $23B than financial aid to Ukraine $18B. The Refining Loophole, pretending Russian crude refined elsewhere is not Russian crude is just like junkies who rationalize all actions to get their fix, making the middlemen countries "washing" it for the EU a nice profit helping them get their fix. Would be interesting to hear what these EU leaders are saying amongst themselves behind the scenes after photo ops and meetings with Zelensky who has stated he believes the war will end when Putin is gone. The EU leaders no doubt agree with him, however, the Ukrainian opposition is basically kept alive by Zelensky's cult of personality, and likely for the EU, so goes war as so goes Zelensky as well.
