I am seeing this phrase on dating profiles all the time now. It's not cool that you're 30 something and still dressing like an emo poser.Dark makeup,piercings, and a tattoo of a ginger read man on a noose. Grow the fuck up. It's not even genuine. These types make their whole identity a bunch of superficial shit to look edgy and deep.
Most "emo" "scene" people when I was coming up got to do whatever the hell they wanted. From money or not, they didn't seem to have to worry about much. It didn't matter if they were truly from trash or not, they still acted like it. It was fake.
Like I truly did like pop punk and shit. I certainly couldn't dress like a retard or have any sort of identity on top of it. Now that I can, so I act retarded? No. Why is it the people who got to do whatever they wanted base so much of themselves around this shit?
