Idk about yall but this makes my efforts of friendship feel like a drop in the bucket. You have time to check your phone and post on instagram and even like my post when I tagged you but not when I send a text message to your phone #?? Like wtf

This is why people like me are becoming anti social in terms of not bothering with all this unnecessary headache. That's what I do now. I make it 100% transactional. Wasting mental and emotional effort on someone who doesn't affect them or eve care is a fool's errand of its highest caliber. Also, this is why people will end up befriending robots, as that's happening in Japan with some robot that costs $500 but you pay $12 monthly as a subscription and you get someone that acts like a friend, if not wife, like greeting you when you leave and come home and ask you how your day was. People ain't shit, and more and more, animals and for the misguided ones, robots will take the place of irrational human beings that somehow we have to tolerate their behavior yet when we do it, it's intolerable. Fuck that shit.
