Best friends

So my best friend who we're going to call Sarah wanted to come with me and get my ears pierced, and I asked my mom and my mom said no. Fast forward to the day before I get my ears pierced, my other best friend who we're going to call Claire wanted to have a sleepover, and I asked my mom who said yes, and Claire's mom said that Claire might have to come with me to get my ears pierced because Claire's parents would both be out of town, and so my mom said yes, to help out Claire's parents. So now it was official that Claire was sleeping over and coming with me and my mom to get my ears pierced. Now, me and Sarah were on call because we were both bored, and I told Sarah about my sleepover plans with Claire, and Sarah asked if she could join. I asked Claire and Claire said she wanted it to just be us, so I kindly told Sarah she couldn't. While on call, Sarah asked if I was positive about her not being able to come with me while I got my ears pierced, and I, without thinking, told her about Claire coming. After I told her, I thought she would understand because Claire's parents wouldn't be there, and so we had to take her. But Sarah was not at all understanding and was super pissed. Now, I don' t know how to fix it, but I also don't really think I was in the wrong.
