I do not want to go back to XXL, 2XL, 3XL size. I had gone to L. I slowly went back to XL. I am now working out everyday and controlling my diet this summer to go back to L. I am successfully losing 1kg per week. It is a slow progress.
If I was skinny (size S), I would bake freely like I did before: fruit pies, peach cobbler, marble cake, carrot cake, lemon blueberry cake, bread pudding, lemon squares, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies..just the simple stuff. Nothing complicated.
I have become older. My metabolism cannot easily burn those treats anymore. Thus, I now bake healthier food like salmon or squash. My food is more plant based. I have to redefine 'treats'.
Treats are like below:
A toast of homemade bread topped homemade hummus, arugula and oven roasted squash.
When I have wholesome plant based food, it reduces my sweet cravings too.
On the negative: I have judgmental of stores selling crap candy and crappy high caloric junk food. That makes up 90% of food businesses. That is not good. I passed by a candy shop today and the first thought that went through my head was: 'TRASH'. I know I am going to get hate for my perspective.
