Autumn

I hate how everything is full of "Hello autumn!" and countdowns till autumn and warm bulky clothes replacing nice breezy clothes in shop and garden stuff giving way to Halloween stuff in shops. I honestly don't get how people can be excited for that sad, cold, dark and dreary season. No more sitting in the garden, no more light comfy clothes and sandals, no more ice cream that sweet summer scent is replaced by the cold stench of autumn. I hate it and I want to slap everyone who can't wait for this depressing time. I don't get the Halloween hype either. Where I'm from, it's barely a thing and even so, it's strictly for kids and young people. I also hate spooky vibes, I definitely won't watch and read scary material just because they're in season and traumatise myself, like I'd been doing for years before both my husband and I got so scared of a scary compilation that we agreed we'd never do this again, Halloween or not.
