A tribute to my uncle

A tribute to my uncle

I miss you and your brilliance. I type this with tears in my eyes. I wish I spent time with you. It was your hard work that got you where you were. You worked tirelessly till late in the night everyday. I think the Japanese term "Karoshi" got to you. I still remember you by looking at your brilliant work. You are my inspiration to be passionate and creative in whatever I choose to do, but also an important lesson. If I was in the same country, I would have flown in to cremate you. I am glad that your adopted son did the cremation duty that nobody else would. Most importantly, you were a good human and a humble one. You had few friends, but they were true friends. I was watching Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's song Heer Aasmani, I remembered you. I started crying. The world will not be the same without your brilliance.

That was very touching and a beautiful tribute. Even though to me resolutions are stupid only because they're made unrealistic and to me pointless, one good thing if people ask you what's your new year's resolution, say be like your uncle. Songs really do hit home hard. There were some songs, which I forgot maybe because my mind wanted to protect itself, but if I heard these songs, it would bring me back to my childhood past of simplicity when family was actually okay, we all got along and not fractured, and I did what you did. When one light goes out, another lights up. Ergo, darkness can never win. So as long as you have a spark, it'll keep the darkness at bay. So go do some philanthropic work, even a little, to honor him and not disappoint him. Donating is good, but your time? Priceless as it's irretrievable, only mercilessly moving to your fated demise. And that's for everybody if it's not obvious. So it really feels good and makes this dark, psychotic, anti social and anti humane world bright and livable. Also, at an arm's length distance at minimum, religion's great to get over it and get a boost in soul. That's what I do when I spiritually feel I need to recharge. Plus, they may have some events where they can have you volunteer. Just some advice. Well, Happy New Year!
