30 years
My country has changed so much over the last 30 years. Today, I saw a young able-bodied and sane Asian homeless woman pushing a cart. She did not look like a drug addict. 1 in 4 people in my city are homeless or below poverty line. I know that people live in walking closets. There is a job shortage crisis. There is a housing crisis. People who do end up getting jobs might get sucked into labor trafficking (a type of human trafficking). There is a mental health crisis too that has taken a back burner. There is a big drug problem that has become more visible. It has become impossible to drive in the city.
