Disinterest

Whats the point of discussing your interests with someone if you have no intention of actually talking about them
Why bring up something youre interested in just to refuse to actually talk about it when i show interest in the things youre saying? Why be purposfully vague? Why come up to me just to say how good or interesting something is just to refuse to elaborate? Is there a point in me taking interest in the things youre interested in if you dont want me to be a part of the conversation? Ive brought it up before, how it annoys or irks me when you refuse to actually talk to me when i take interest in what youre saying but you continue to do it.
And the more i think about it, the more i realize that you never take interest in the things i say. I want to tell you about a book i read, or a show i watched, but you just brush me off wkth a nod of your head or a shrug of your shoulders. It always bothered me that you never wanted to engage with anything i was saying but when id stop talking or ask if i was boring you youd always say that you were just distracted and youd apologize for not responding. But how many times can you apologize before its all fucking meaningless?
I hate being interested jn the things you have to say. I hate caring about the things you enjoy. I wish youd just put an ounce of that same interest and care. You say you love me, you say you want to spend your life with me but its getting harder and harder to believe that.
I think i need to leave before im drained of everything i have
