Why should I pledge allegiance to a country that won't pledge allegiance to the people living in it?

This deleting my rants that are related to my country is getting very old. I won't mention orange man this time so hopefully I'll stop getting shit targeted.

Most American schoolchildren would do this pledge, or at least that's how it was when I was growing up. But it always felt one way because there is nothing in that script that says that the country pledges allegiance to it's citizens. And I think this can be added to the list of reasons why America became a shit show a ling time ago. Yes, any country can demand allegiance from it's citizens, but not that many outside of Scandinavian pledges allegiance to the people who live in it. Just look at the healthcare system in the U.S. compared to those northern European countries for starters.

Thank God this site keeps deleting all that Trump spam, this site was nothing but Trump spam for months. Just both sides contantly repeating their same stupid thoughts like it was going to change someone's mind.

Maybe it's because Trump is doing real harm to the people living in the USA and people have to rant about it? I can understand deleting those low IQ "Trump iz tha graytest prezident" rants that contribute nothing for either side and is just empty noise and they used to plague this site, but people have genuine concerns about what he's doing. People's lives are literally are on the line.
