I am on a summer weight loss boot camp regimen. I gained a lot of weight over the winter. Sweets, hot lattes, large portions, caused my downfall in the winter. One medium latte is like 39 grams of sugar. That can feed a village. Next time I see that pistachio almond and custard cake at my bakery, I will not go for it.
Homemade food is better because I know how much of what goes into it. I cannot enjoy anything at cafes anymore because there is too much homelessness when I go out.

- I looking at a website called EatingWell. It has meal plans for low carb and weight loss. It explains how a calorie deficit is needed over time to lose weight.
- To avoid habitual and stress eating, I look at another website called LoveToKnow
- I have stopped lattes.
- Celebrations do not involve a food treat. They involve a trip to the zoo or the movies or the lake. Fun stuff.
- I drink hot water or herbal tea
