Trump Threat To Dems

Some book makers should be taking odds on what Trump's next shutdown move will be after his threat to shut down permanently things that are important to the Democrats as punishment: "We can do things during the shutdown that are irreversible, that are bad for them and irreversible. Like cutting vast numbers of people out, cutting things that they like, cutting programs that they like."

Since Maga World seems eager & willing to suffer on the cross for anything Trump does to "own the libs" and Trump likes the drama and distracting ensuing chaos of big flex power moves (haven't heard about Epstein files in a week, or the news Trump's toady Speaker Johnson is refusing to sign in the newest democrat House member whose signature will make a majority vote to release those files), the biggest flex would be to hit the very hill the Democrats are defending, ACA; target the agency the runs the ACA (Obamacare) weeks before November sign-up which is HHS (headed by crazy toady RFK that supports the agency's piecemeal dismantlement anyway). That would be pure Trump knife turning irony there: Democrat Leaders are upset the ACA subsidies will not be reinstated after sunsetting causing massive insurance premium increases, so cripple the ACA so badly it can't even run open enrollment to buy it. Then Trump can take the credit for "saving US citizens money who want to purchase health insurance".
