I cannot be more excited or ready to graduate school. My college “friends” have ruined almost every happy moment at school for me and tonight was the final straw. I have never been around a group of more self centered, shallow, rude, backstabbing, gaslighters in my entire life. I wish I was one of those people who could forgive and forget, but I am praying on their downfall. Goodbye to this chapter of my life!

This is a hurtful lesson to learn. A lot of people in social settings aren't really friends with anyone, and are so insecure that they have to pretend to be friends with someone because oh my god what would people think if they weren't around others? It sucks to be genuine and surrounded by fakeasses. Right when school or the job ends, POOF. It's like you and the other "friends" don't exist.

When I was first in college I easily made what I thought were friends, and it hurt like hell to see how they didn't care. Trying to talk to them and being blown off, seeing them kind of doing the same with other people. It sucks.
