Rules for ladies
1. Always keep tampons or sanitary napkins in your handbag2. Keep a scarf or stole in your handbag in case your trousers/skirt rips or you get periods
3. Never wear white trousers no matter how fashionable it is. If you suddenly get your periods, you are finished.
4. Wear short bicycle shorts under dresses and skirts. Try to avoid skirts and dresses unless you feel safe.
5. Do not drink more than you can handle and always watch your drink
6. Transit is safer than hitching rides from strangers.
7. Do not go hiking on lonely trails all by yourself.
8. If you had be outside at odd hours and if you feel that someone is following you, pull out your cell phone and start texting someone. Keep a watch on your surroundings.
