READING RAINBOW IS THE WORST SHOWS ON TV!!!!!!! I really hate it’s annoying theme song. You might be to old for this show. It’s about a guy named levar Bruton and he likes to read failure books. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU PBS!? Yeah It’s canceld. Little Einstines is way better than reading rainbow. I am only 11 years old and I hate this show. I GIVE THIS SHOW 0/10!!! I have fond memories of the show in the 80s. The somewhat haunting synth startup with the psychadelic butterfly descending from the clouds, the woman singing "Butterfly in the sky, I can go twice as high! Take a look, it's in a book, Reading Rainbow!" Then it builds up to a more dramatic tone "I can do anyyyyything!...".
Yeah the newer 90s on intro was not as good, but the quality of the show was still there.
But anyway it is by far one of the better shows out there, and with absolute dreck like "Barney the Dinosaur" and that insufferable "Elmo's world" (I watched some of the latter and it was like watching someone scraping nails on a chalkboard) why pick on Reading Rainbow?
