I'm here, sitting back and smiling while taking notes of all of the people and companies that are bending the knee to something that is going to bite them in the ass in four years. Places will scramble to put things back the way they were before the election to try to win people over again and show how "inclusive" they are, especially with those who support LGBTQ+ and inclusion. Everything that is being done now will give the incentive to be undone with the next presidential candidates to gain favor, and I don't think those in the White House realize that.
I'm also anticipating the absolute meltdown certain people will have when they're elbowed out of a certain someone's circle. It will be EPIC. Others who have already been through that are also anticipating this. It's like watching a real-life version of Mean Girls.
That's the silver lining with everything going on right now, and the schadenfreude is strong in this one. And it's not if, but WHEN. It happened the first time, but no one seems to remember since a certain someone was brought back into office. No one learned their lesson the first time, and now everyone, absolutely EVERYONE, will pay for it, mostly with their wallets. No one listened. Everyone thought they had common sense when they voted.
If you didn't learn your lesson the first time, you deserve to crash and burn, and no one should help you out. You made your bed; now, sleep in it.
This is like watching someone build a sandcastle before the tide comes to wash it away. I can't wait for that sandcastle to fall.
Maybe if we all stopped trying to divide our nation and actually come together on key issues, issues that matter, we could have a chance to be the superpower everyone should respect, but until the current circus is out of the white house, that can't happen. All those in power currently want to do is divide and conquer and are gaslighting and threatening anyone who disagrees with them.
