My Friend s Wife
My friend, who is Malaysian, has been in my country, with his wife for about 3 years now, he has started a food business and is doing quite well.He spends many many hours cooking, serving, cleaning, all the usual things when you have a food service business.
His wife has basically stopped helping and she want to go back home and he is very upset and annoyed with her and they are now talking about a divorce.
I was listening to them and was selfishly thinking, I so wish she is not going, I love talking with her, she is beautiful, always takes time to talk with me, ask me how I am, we drink some tea from time to time, I am really really going to miss her, I do not want her to go, and I resent him for it, I know it is wrong and I know they have to do what is best for themselves and I know I must stay out of it, and I will, but I want to tell someone, anyone, how much she means to me and that it is going to break my heart if she is not here.

Sad for you Susi, I do not know what is going in with you or them, and I hope you are there for your friend, she may need you, but honestly, this is going to be tough for all involved.

They are both lovely people, but I have become close to her, we talk all the time, she is lonely, and I have been very surprised with how my feelings bloomed, and was very surprised when she kissed me, I had not though of a same sex relationship before, nothing happened and she apologised, and we have just carried as 'normal' since.
I just know, I will miss her so much, I have been crying about this but I am trying to stay out of it all and just do my work, and I am looking for a new job as I cannot stand to work there if she is not staying, he is a nice guy, but I do not want to be there without her and I also think I may just move on anyway as even if she stays, it is all too much to be there all the time, and maybe we can still be friends, who knows.
Anyway, I also hope they will fix their marriage and I will just deal with the changes I must make, I am sad but it will be ok.
