My father thinks I will never do well

So, after my (Primary 6) exams, I found out that I actually got much higher than the secondary school (I registered already) requirement I needed to join. However, my father kept complaining about how I should send an appeal to "at least have a chance to change schools", as I couldn't back out last minute. Then, he said that if I got into a school with a lower grade requirement, my grades would drop, and if I got into a better school, my grades would be better. The thing is he didn't understand "You cannot back out of the school you have accepted a confirmed offer for". The way I got a confirmed offer was by signing up for DSA (Direct School Admission) because my parents thought that the school I DSA'd for would be better than going by my grades. Now, I can't help but think that he thinks I'm never good enough as the school I got into was quite good enoug already.

Don't worry you are a girl the world goes easy on girls for jobs. It's when you go looking for a husband you get disappointed because the world doesn't go easy on men for jobs which means you are going to think most men are complete loosers and the rest are short or disabled. That's why it's a double edged sword really you would be better off if it went easier on you for jobs and you could just marry some guy but than the trick is not to marry a lunatic
