oh how much i would give just to experience an internetless society again. its really limited my chances of socialising if its all done online im not going to get anything out of it when people can just find someone else as thats what all my former friends did now watching other peoples lives online makes me miss that connection i used to have with people in person
when it didnt matter if we didnt take selfies we would just socialise without much issue nowadays its harder to even find a social group esp in countryside people my age all have their own lives and they dont need me anyway
my death would not come to a surprise and only a few close relatives would miss me
i just dont get no satisfaction anymore from life there is nothing worth sticking around for when my pets pass on i will meet them in heaven anyway
it just seem like the world has become so shallow or vein or attention seeking esp via social media. every interaction i have online often doesnt give me enough satisfaction and i often have to seek it whereas i used to have friends who came round to our house i miss that
it seem like people pick and choose who they cheris as friends and whoever doesnt get included gets left out or they might have other more successful friends that they prefer

I grew up in the 1980s, and it wasn't the pink rose tinted world people make it out to be. A lot of those people who weren't even around back then or were too young to remember it.
I really don't want to go back to then, and that decade had it's own set of problems and extremist mass thinking anonymous 2 weeks ago
^Same with the 1950s, and the pink rose tinted view of that world people in the 1980s had. anonymous 2 weeks ago
