Father tried to kill mother

Dad tried to kill mom. He took a knife and chased her around the house while I hid in my room.

There's nothing I can do since mom defends dad. She loves when he treats her like trash. It's my word against mom and dad's, the police won't believe.

I wish the army would come and imprison him forever so he could never hurt anyone. They should also imprison mom for enabling and defending him

I agree you should tell trusted adults like a teacher too. I went through this growing up and it's not right. No kid should have to live with domestic violence at home.

Well reality is statistically it's likely you will grow up do drugs end up marrying a guy just like your dad because that's all you know.... if you meet a nice guy you probably won't marry him because he will seem unusual to what you know. So stay away from drugs my advice but you probably won't and you will end up a single mum who gets beat up demanding sympathy
