Disliking a family member

So I have a family member that came to visit for 6 months and there were times it wasn’t pleasant sharing things with her. As much as I’m trying to be accommodating, I just can’t bring myself to like her.

Ever since she came to visit, our family went a little out of proportion because of the change and the fact her personality is yet very blunt isn’t helping either and even my family sometimes complains about her.

I just don’t like her for what she brought in to our family and I can’t wait for her to leave.

I’m about to move on to the next chapter of my life and I’ll be attending an event to confirm this and I’m not intending to get a ticket for her. I just don’t like her.

How my family is reacting to my behaviour? They know, they are aware. If any of them ask me to get close to her one more time. I’m saying no, I just tolerate her at this point.

Thanks for your advice. To be honest, I tend to avoid confrontations but if it’s something I need to do, I’ll just have to do it. Can you give me some tips on how to do this?
