Discord Loser

I've bitched here several times about a Discord dedicated to Halo speedrunning, and the dumbfuck who moderates the place.

They continue to openly cheat and rig it to where they are the "champion" of a bunch of rankings that are nowhere near as good as scores set everywhere else. It's supposed to be for fun, and this fuck lords over it. I look at the Discord in passing when I'm bored on my breaks at work.

Now, playing my own version of Dr. Melfi, I think I get part of why I hate them so much. One, it's just a shitty thing to do. Cheating while preaching positivity and how everyone should play. Then them bitching at people who don't buy the $70 "community standard" controllers to playthrough 20 something year old levels of Halo 2. Bullshit.

The other part of it, I see a lot of middle school behavior in that Discord. The people are all around their late 20s, early 30s. But they act like kids. It takes me back to the days when I was in middle school, and the spoiled rich acting kids who got new 360 games all the time for no reason were in their own little word, acting obnoxious, having to be center of everything, while shunning anyone who didn't kiss their ass. This Discord has inadvertently put me around those types of people again.

Like, I never fit in with that decades ago, and I certainly don't now. And how fucking pathetic do you have to be, to be some adult child, doing this shit? I guess, they want to do everything they can to relive their spoiled childhood.

I had a horrible upbringing and didn't have a childhood. I used to live inside of video games because I was forbidden from pretty much everything else. The further I get, the more I want to be away from shit from my past. I guess that's just where we differ.
