If it's because of looks because you dated her, married her, and worried about him buying her things, and that he's buying her stuff you and him are both wrong because a person having looks are not a reason to date, marry or be worried about someone buying someone gifts and him buying her gifts and you shouldn't and have to have looks for someone to marry you and them to be worry about someone buying them gifts and them buying her gifts.

That really strikes me as weird, and maybe your friend should be checking out if she is seeing other men. Provided that she "asked"/cockblock threatened him into buying those products for her in the first place.
