Props to my college town for bulldozing local homes and businesses and replacing them with cheaply built student apartments and then monopolizing the market and being able to charge astronomical rates to siphon money out of the local economy. /s Simple minded folks will call this "densitying" but truth is this shit ain't densifying. They're building homes for rich college kids surviving off mommy and daddy's money rather than the people on the streets who actually NEED housing. And on top of that, years of construction kicking up dust and making the environment very unpleasant to walk in, and funneling every college student and their car to this tiny town that is not built for that amount of cars.... Gahhh... I can't wait to graduate and get out of this fuckass town asap

You know what’s funny? I’m living in my own apartment right now because my university accepts more students than they have dorms for. I do actually agree with you though. There are a lot of homeless people and it would be better to build housing for them. Also, it is true you can only go to college if your parents can afford it. But some countries like Germany have free college for everyone.
