I can't do this anymore. Covid has ruined school and my motivation. I'm waiting on results for a possible adhd diagnosis and it feels like my life has hit a downward spiral. Me, being a fucking dumbass, decided to take physics over biology. I can't learn online no matter how hard I try, and just so happens that most of my schedule is online. I'm failing physics and I need this for my career. I can't tell my parents, because they're already so stressed out with their jobs and bills. I'm a fucking pussy and can't ask my teacher for help because whenever I do, I get emotional and start crying for no fucking reason. My teacher assigns a new lesson and a new assignment every day, I don't have time to catch up my work. There are two weeks left of this class. I can't do this anymore. I fucking hate this. I have nobody I can rant to, nobody to ask for help, I'm going to fucking fail this class and ruin my life because I don't have the fucking motivation or brain to get it together and do online school.

No wonder you're failing; you don't know how to make sense. You say that you should have taken biology instead of physics... Then you say that you need physics for your career. Doesn't sound like choosing not to take physics is really an option for you.

You young people and your problems with the real world.

The OP should consider a career in psychiatry. You don't need to make sense to be a psychiatrist, you just need to be able to assemble a bunch of words that will completely baffle and confuse anyone that doesn't understand gibberish. There are other fields that you could go into too that don't require an ability to be rational, logical, or methodical.

According to a quick Google search the national average salary for a psychiatrist in Canada is just a little less than $300k/year. Not too shabby for a professional that isn't even required to know what they're talking about.

OP, don’t take the advice given about psychiatry. It’s science and math heavy so you would be in the same boat as with engineering but with less passion.

Send your teacher an email explaining you feel overwhelmed. Your teacher can’t wave a magic wand to help you but can offer you help.

Also, try watching online videos about the subjects that can help you learn. Take on each assignment one at a time. Work for 30 minutes, take 5 minutes off, work for 30, 5 off, and so on. Reward yourself for getting things done and put away your phone while working on school. Multitasking will severely limit your productivity.
