Job Interviews

I've just about had it with our "interviewing system" for jobs. First off, if you're 99% set on someone, STOP HAVING INTERVIEWS!!! At that point, it's a total waste of everyone's time, and some people have to sell their firstborn child JUST for time off for the interview to begin with! Secondly, employers need to STOP lowballing salaries and forcing their applicant to negotiate for it. It's total bullshit. I'm personally a modest person, not the type to comfortably go "Oh no, that's not enough at all. I'm worth WAY more, so you better pay me more." Enough with that garbage. Just give me a number/range and be done with it, no one has the time or patience for that stupid crap. Also, employers need to stop being little babies about the "reason" for not hiring someone. If the applicant doesn't know what "went wrong" or what was missing, they'll never get the chance to improve or do better. Nobody wins. Employers are having way too much fun sitting up on their high horses and jerking our chains, like, enough is enough.
