I m struggling to get over him

Am I the only one that happens to still feel a type of way about someone (purely platonic) but never establish a relationship with them., and feel like you had a relationship with them? And they probably feel the same about you, but it’s done through signs rather than it being verbally said? But still think about it till this day? I don’t know. But if you do, that’s the boat I’m on. I liked this dude a few years back, but never really spoke to him. I’d see him almost everyday when I went to school, and like it’s funny cos I started realising he was giving off subtle messages, such as at one point he was waiting at the bus stop (and so was I) and like he was there already so I was on one end and he was on the other, and like the moment he spotted me he decided to walk to my end, smile at me and just stand near me, awkwardly. Don’t know if it’s just me overthinking it or he was stalking me but I took it as a subtle message idk. And every since I moved schools, I’ve just been thinking about it and other times like that. Like that was going on for a year, seeing him before and after school. Idk.
