After the initial shock wore off, I realized that. You were MISERABLE here, and being stuck with someone so bloody fed up day in and day out (I don't blame you!) was hell.
I didn't know how to talk to you, and you really didn't give many openings. Days tend to go faster when you can carry a conversation. Then again, silence is good too.
You were never unfair, though. You didn't take your frustrations out on me. Thank you for that. I knew, to a small degree, what you were going through, and in most cases, I had experienced that BS before.
It is a BITCH working with people who DGAF, punch in, punch out, do the motions...there is more to this place than that. It takes commitment and caring past your shift, to avoid headaches and undue stress for the next guy. I'm sorry to say, most folks here don't get it and don't *care* to get it. I hope this company doesn't let them get away with that.
I'll do what I can, but TBH, my resumes are up, too. I'm not going to burn myself out if people don't care.
Go in safety and peace.
