i fucking hate the sat i am a good student in school and do all these after school shit, but the stupid sat is literally the bane of my existence like i can never focus whenever i sit down to study and i make stupid mistakes from misreading the question and i just don't know how to get a good score and my parents don't understand the scoring system and how it gets harder to improve you score at a certain point, they think it's just linear so when other people who started at a way lower score than me are improving while i'm already at a relatively good score and struggling to improventhey freak out and i'm just so done with it like they said that this one hour of studying should improve my score by 100 points or they will never forgive me for it... THAT's NOT HOW IT WORKS ahhhhhhhhhhhh and some of my friends are getting near perfect scores and idfk how they do it and ughhhhhhh

I was a crap student and got 1980. The most important thing is to be calm!! I didnt do any studying or anything like that; just relax and let the knowledge flow

tiz the case for all tests. I passed HS with a 2.0 because of tests :D then got A's at uni. You can do it! dont doubt yourself

Underline key words in the question, circle the question or questions themselves. Star the hard questions and go back to them once you have finished the rest of the test. Study root words in order to help with vocabulary section. Do practice tests at home or do a prep course. Half of the battle is knowing how to take a test under pressure.

thx for the advice, but there is a new version of the sat so its out of 1600 and no more vocab section. i mostly struggle with the reading and the grammar bc i take a while to process questions and run out of time. this past weekend i took the official sat for the first time and didn't do that bad i hope like it was better than my practice tests but i know i got a few wrong from reddit discussions so rip me
