Do not ASS-U-ME
Do not ASS-U-ME because it makes an ASS out of U and ME, but mostly U.An example. Some cluckcluckbrain made a UI for image search in which am trying to zoom in to see a picture in detail. But cluckcluckbrain ASS-U-ME'D that while I am zoomed in, I would at some point want to switch to another picture with a swipe while zoomed in. Nevermind how asinine that is, but it's far too easy to trigger this function because panning around the zoomed picture also involves swiping around. So this person made himself look more like an ass than me, because his UI acts and looks clownish doing this, and a whole lot of people are experiencing this problem.
So yes, whoever designed that UI, you made a far bigger ASS out of U than you did to ME by ASS-U-ME'ING. Got it?
