Broke or Moocher
So one of my best friends is always broke. Everytime I hangout with her, she has like 50 cents in her bank account. I don’t know what to do because I understand she’s broke and it’s tough but I can’t spot her everywhere we go. We’re both broke college students so I definitely can’t support all the time. There’s simple stuff here and there I don’t mind doing. Like I pay for her food sometimes or pick her up 20 minutes away at her house. But we go to get togethers and Ill buy a bottle of wine for us and after my first glass, I look over and the bottle is empty... I’m like ....... ok. She’s a very sweet person and I try to be understanding. I have no problem telling her no, but I’m starting to wonder if she’s just a moocher. People like this will never change if you keep enabling them. I know, because I've delt with these kinds of people.
Cut her off, and if she don't like it, tough. There are plenty of other people to be your friend, you don't need her.
